What: Presentation on Weather Forecasting

This will also be our holiday party as well as Past President’s Night. Please feel free to bring a guest with you and wear an ugly sweater for our Ugly Sweater Contest!

Who:

Ryan Breton is a meteorologist at NEWS CENTER Maine (WCSH 6 in Portland and WLBZ 2 In Bangor). Nor’easters sparked Ryan’s interest in weather, but he enjoys forecasting all seasons. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Penn State, one of the best atmospheric science programs in the country. Before joining NEWS CENTER Maine, Ryan began his on-air career at NH1 News in Concord, New Hampshire, and previously worked as an intern with the meteorologists at WCVB-TV in Boston. Ryan was awarded the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal earlier this year.
