February ASHRAE tour of Peregrine Turbine

Join us for a tour of Peregrine Turbine Technologies (PTT) facility on February 27in Wiscasset. The PTT team has developed the world’s most efficient energy conversion turbine engine. PTT is focused on the development and deployment of advanced sCO2 (super critical carbon dioxide) turbine energy generation, storage, and propulsion systems. Its sCO2 energy conversion system is essentially a closed loop, heat engine and is fuel agnostic, meaning that it can operate on any high-grade heat source such as nuclear and concentrated solar, as well as on all air combustible fuels Including sustainable biomass, biogas, refuse derived fuels (RDF), and natural gas. Plan to meet at the facility at 5:00pm for the tour to begin at 5:15pm. Dinner to follow at Water Street Kitchen and Bar located at 15 water Street, Wiscasset, ME 04578. Dinner will include a brief presentation on CO2 Refrigeration cycles.
