Maine ASHRAE November Meeting

Maine ASHRAE and Maine Healthcare Engineers Society (MEHES).are excited to welcome ASHRAE NYC Healthcare Decarbonization Committee, they will be presenting at Maple Hill Farm in Hallowell, Maine!  

The event starts at 5:00PM for a social networking hour, 6:15PM for a locally raised dinner and keynote topic of the night: Decarbonize with Resilience, A Guide for (New York) Hospitals

Decarbonize with Resilience, A Guide for New York Hospitals was created by a public-private 

partnership comprised of over 80 federal, state, and local government agencies, hospitals, 

industry groups, utilites, and professional associations. The coalition is being led by the ASHRAE 

New York City Chapter with Regional and Society Leadership Support. It is also co-funded by the 

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and members of the 

“Founders Circle” which includes The ASHRAE NYC Chapter, AKF Engineers & Trane.

The guide has been created to help hospitals meet the regulatory compliance requirements set  forth in the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (The Climate Act) and New York  City’s Local Law 97. It contains practical advice, benchmarking and measurement tools, case  studies, and other resources hospitals can use to strategize, organize, and fund their  decarbonization & resiliency projects
